We have a group of committed people that serve weekly in various
ways enabling gatherings at The Chapel at Elmwood to
come to fruition.
We have many different service opportunities at The Chapel at Elmwood.
| Make Over Team |
| Because everything is portable when you're having
a church that meets out of a theater,
we need a set up and tear down team.
This is where our make over team steps
in! These able bodied individuals are
early risers, arriving at the Regal on Elmwood at 6:30 on Sunday mornings
to bring in equipment from the box truck and the trailer. This equipment
includes technical equipment, children's supplies and sets, host team
supplies, Elmwood Expressions equipment, etc. The make over team is
also responsible for loading the truck and the trailer post service. |
| Host Team |
| The host team is full of people people!! This team
is responsible for greeting first time guests, making them feel welcome
and directing them around the Chapel at Elmwood campus. Our host team
also involves the traditional responsibilities of ushering which includes
helping people to their seats, passing out the worship guides, and
collecting tithes and offerings. The host team also is in charge of
managing the Connection Center which is where guests and visitors can
learn more about the ministries of The Chapel at Elmwood and purchase
CD's, t-shirts, etc. |
| Elmwood Expressions |
| This is the part of special teams that creates quite
a "buzz!" Elmwood Expressions serves coffee house style coffee drinks
that are delicious and free of charge! We proudly brew and serve Starbucks
coffee and Atlanta Bread Company donates goodies to us each week. |
| Tech Team |
| The tech team is responsible for all of the technical
aspects at The Chapel at Elmwood. We have state of the art audio and
visual equipment which is used in both the adult gatherings and in
King's World, our children's ministry. |
| King's World |
| There are so many people involved in making sure that
Sunday morning at The Chapel at Elmwood
is the best hour of your kid's week! We have small group leaders, actors,
singers, dancers, tech support and more that go into making King's
World a success! |
| Prayer Team |
| The prayer team is a group of compassionate people
that have the desire to share Christ with others and witness life change
first hand. This team gathers at the end of each service to be there
for people that have questions about their faith or just need someone
to talk to/pray with. |
| Special Teams Responsibilities |
| - Be in continuous prayer for The Chapel at Elmwood
in regards to logistics, Brek,
families in the area, the workers at the Regal, etc. |
| - Recruit workers to volunteer on Sunday mornings
and recruit unsaved people to come
to church at The Chapel at Elmwood |
| - Communicate with Jennifer any schedule conflicts
or changes |
